Minimum Safety Equipment Requirements
The following list outlines the minimum safety equipment required on
Power Boats over 12m and up to 24m (39’4″ – 78′ 9″). You may want to bring more equipment based on your type of boat, your activity and the current and forecasted weather and water conditions. You can review the equipment you must carry
aboard your boat and get specific information about each piece.

A second masthead abaft of and higher than the forward one light

• One (1) all-round white light
OPTIONAL – Another all-round white light at or near the stern and at a lower level than the other light NOTE: You may use any available lights to illuminate decks
