Lifejackets

One key safety feature for Lifejackets is that they will turn you onto your back to keep your face out of the water, even if you are unconscious

Three Canadian-approved types:

1) Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)

Meet very high standards, approved for all vessels

  • A SOLAS vessel is any passenger ship engaged on an international voyage, or a non-passenger ship of 500 tons gross tonnage or more engaged on an international voyage.
  • Will turn you onto your back
  • Available in two sizes: less than 32 kg (70 lbs) or over 32 kg
  • Keyhole design
  • Available in inflatable styles

2) Standard Type lifejacket

3) Small Vessel lifejacket
